| The European aluminium
industry has undertaken various dialogue initiatives
with its stakeholders. Based on permanent exchange,
these initiatives are aimed at delivering information
to society and at collecting remarks and constructive
critique.
Through the Aluminium For Future Generation
programme round tables, interviews, plants visits and
partnerships with legislators, academics and NG0s have
been developed. By initiating this process, the European
aluminium industry is committed to a transparent process
in order to engage in a better understanding of societal
issues and for our member companies to be better prepared
to respond to those societal expectations.
